Yolanda sculpts in bronze and paints in oil on canvas. The colors in her works are influenced by the bright tones of the sea and desert around Eilat.
In her art works, the female figure is dominant. She passes through life cycles and she appears as in legends, mythology, the bible, and different stereotypes. Symbolizing , from love and serenity, to temptation and mystery…
Her works express the values of classical beauty, created with plenty of details, imagination and love.
BIOGRAPHY
The artist, Yolanda Antal was born in Poland, lives in Israel – Eilat.
1970-1973 studied at the" Academy of fine arts" in Italy.
1973-1976 studied art and theatre at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.
1975 married to doctor Michael Antal, a dentist and they have 2 sons.
1977 – 2006, paints in oil on canvas, Sculpts in bronze ,in her studio in Eilat.
1980-1985 Teaching art in Eilat.
1988 -2000 paints on materials, silk and leather, creates fashion, opens 6 shops in Eilat, exports her painted fashion to other countries.
2000 – 2006 Living during the winter in Eilat, and in summer on her boat, sailing in the Mediterranean sea. Sculpts in bronze. Paints in oil on canvas.
